1. Service Description
RiceBridge enables users in the United States and diaspora to purchase and send rice and food essentials to recipients in Liberia. We handle payment processing, procurement, and last-mile delivery.
2. Account Registration
You must create an account to place orders. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Orders and Payment
- All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD)
- Payment is collected at the time of order placement
- Orders are confirmed via email and SMS
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud
4. Delivery
- Estimated delivery times are 5-7 business days within Greater Monrovia
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
- We will make reasonable efforts to contact the recipient prior to delivery
- Photo proof of delivery is provided for all orders
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Orders may be cancelled within 2 hours of placement for a full refund
- After 2 hours, cancellation may not be possible if the order has entered fulfillment
- If delivery cannot be completed, a full refund or redelivery will be arranged
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
6. Limitation of Liability
RiceBridge is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, civil unrest, customs delays, or recipient unavailability.
7. Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
